Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born August 15th, 1970) is an American actor from the United States. After her debut film in the 1983 film Bad Boys, she was part in the Brat Pack of actors and starred on WarGames The Breakfast Club and Short Circuit. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury (the nephew of Angela Lansbury) on April 12,1992. The actor is also the son Edgar Lansbury, who was initially the director of Godspell. Beckett Lansbury was born in 1994. Sheedy claimed that she learned a great deal from Beckett. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy, born June 13th, 1962 in New York City is an American stage and film actor. She is also the author of two books. She's most famous for her part as Bratpack's The Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club is the name of a John Hughes-directed film. The film's title "The Breakfast Club," is actually a term used by some schools for detention. It is likely that students be detained in the early morning, around breakfast time. It's the Next Generation. Sheedy added the title "teacher" in her extensive resume. She has taught acting at City College in New York City and is enjoying taking her students under her guidance.
