The most harrowing tales are hidden behind a career that is dazzling. Lolo Jones, winner of USA and World hurdles, has earned the status he has achieved after years of dedication and perseverance. Jones was the only child of a five-child family as well as grew up in a very poor environment. Her mother was constantly moving and even lived in the basement of her church. Jones was forced to move to a different school each year up until her senior year due to this sporadic lifestyle. In Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones resided apart from her mother to pursue her passion for the track and field events. Jones lived in four distinct houses during her years of high school so that she could attend all of her classes at one time. Jones received her Gatorade track and field Athlete of the Award in high school. As a young cellist, Jones was also part of her school's school orchestra. Since her college days, Jones proved to be one of the best hurdlers. She won the 100-meter obstacle at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. She was also a part of the team who placed 2nd in the 100 meters relay. Jones took home both the indoor and outdoor hurdles at the NCAA Championship in 2003. The track career after she completed her studies at the end of 2005 Jones started to train hard in pursuit of the track. She was the winner of each of in the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track races in the same year.

Brandt moved to Auckland, New Zealand after moving from Cape Town South Africa in late the adolescent years. Brandt was spotted locally by casting directors, and was offered the role of Naevia on the Starz hit show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences through her performances and became an one of the series' breakout actors. Mazikeen is a DC Comics/Vertigo character that she portrayed in the hit Netflix program Lucifer. The series lasted 6 years. Lucifer was a smash hit and broke binge records and was named as the best series to binge in 2021 according to Forbes. Brandt next appears opposite Andrew Lincoln in the limited Walking Dead 6 episode spin-off scheduled to air in 2024. Captain Fall, an adult-oriented show Captain Fall will premiere on Netflix in the month of July 2023. She stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley-Ann Brandt was born 2nd December 1981, in Cape Town South Africa. She's a very talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in 1999. After just a couple of years working in the retail sector and then being promoted to the IT Manager consultant. Lesley began modeling, before deciding to make an appearance in commercials. In 2008 she completed her degree in acting and continued her training in Meisner techniques of learning. Lesley's first big role with New Zealand was as a TV actor on Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt was a guest actor in New Zealand's television show Shortland Street. In the following season, she was in the Sci-fi thriller This Is Not My Life that is based upon anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
